Belarus and Pakistan are developing cooperation. President Aleksandr Lukashenko and Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif held negotiations at the Palace of Independence in Minsk. Minsk and Islamabad are on the way to strengthening cooperation. The year 2024 was especially active. The leaders met twice. The President of Belarus paid an official visit to Pakistan, and a meeting took place on the margins of the SCO summit. Productive contacts made it possible to sign a roadmap on comprehensive cooperation for the coming years and discuss joint cooperation projects. The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed hope that the good political relations would lead to investments and growth of mutual trade. Pakistan is interested in Belarus as a country with a high level of technology development, especially in the agro-industrial complex.
