А. Lukashenko held a meeting with Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai in Russia
The Head of State first of all drew attention to the trade and economic interaction between the country and the Russian region. "I must note that we are cooperating quite well. This is evidenced by the growth of trade turnover — we are always in the neighborhood of $200 mln, somewhere a little less, a little more. But we can significantly increase this figure due to the potential that the region and our republic possess", the President said. A. Lukashenko noted that the directions of cooperation development are well known. The key ones include, for example, supplies of machinery and equipment for the mining industry. The President also emphasized Belarus' readiness to supply Krasnoyarsk Krai with other trucks, products of AMKODOR and MAZ, which have already proved themselves on the Russian market. As for the development of cooperation in the field of road transportation, the President noted the potential of domestic enterprises to produce and export vehicles, including those powered by gas motor fuel. They also talked about the readiness to develop new forms of mutual settlements, including leasing deliveries.
