Aleksandr Lukashenko held a meeting with his team. The task is not to deceive the expectations of the supporters of the incumbent power, the President emphasised. Over 2.5 million people gave their signatures to her at the nomination stage. This is a high level of trust. It is unacceptable to let people down, Alexander Lukashenko is convinced. The President noted that the year will not be easy, but Belarus will pursue a tight monetary policy to prevent distortions in the economy. The fair pricing formula that the government has been instructed to work out is one of the preventive measures. In general, the President urged the proxies to act exclusively within the framework of the law. The CEC should decide whether foreign observers will be invited to Belarus.
