"Zhirovichi icon as Belarusian relic"
30.01.2023
Minsk is hosting an exhibition titled "Zhirovich icon as a Belarusian relic". It features more than 30 religious paintings created in different techniques from marble, natural stone and onyx. Being on the list of 100 most important orthodox icons in the world, the Zhirovichi icon of Mother of God is revered in Christianity as a symbol of healing and rightful guidance. The exposition is unique because icons carved from stone are eternal and will continue to serve people even centuries later. The exhibition will be available through mid-February.
