Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival to feature holographic show about Mieczysław Weinberg

The best musicians and orchestras of the world will gather at Yuri Bashmet International Music Festival. For the first time in history, Mieczysław Weinberg’s chamber symphonies will be visualized. East-West Chamber Orchestra will perform the composer’s symphonies to celebrate his 100th anniversary. The live performance will be coupled with an incredible holographic show. The stage will be fitted with a thin silver 7-meter wide net which will visualize the music and enable spectators discover new meanings in the music and the difficult history of the life and art of the composer. The highlight of the performance will be a renowned Spanish violinist Leticia Moreno. The program of the festival will feature nine concerts.
