Yakub Kolas State Literary Memorial Museum celebrating its anniversary

The Yakub Kolas State Literary Memorial Museum turns 60. A lot of work has been carried out in Belarus to perpetuate the memory of the legendary founder of new Belarusian literature. Today, the Yakub Kolas Museum spans across 10 exhibition halls that preserve the original interiors of the writer's office and bedroom, furniture and everyday things. A museum's branch, Nikolayevshchina, is found in Kolas' birthplace in the Stolbtsovsky district.
