XVIII National Festival of Belarusian Song and Poetry kicks off in Molodechno

The 18th National Festival of the Belarusian Song and Poetry kicks off in Molodechno today. This year the musical festival is timed to the Year of Native Land and the 80th anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR and Belarus Igor Luchenok. Belarus’ President has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the forum. Alexander Lukashenko wished them successful performances and new creative accomplishments. The first day of the festival will highlight the National Contest of Young Pop Song Performers.
