Vologda lace is presented in Minsk for the first time
30.10.2023
The exhibition "Vologda Lace" is hosted by the Vankovich House. The exhibition features 25 elements, including plot compositions. The highlight is the "Northern Rhapsody" tablecloth. The uniqueness of Vologda weaving lies not only in large-scale sizes, but also in ancient patterns with encrypted cultural codes. The exhibition project demonstrates the monumentality and heritage of Vologda, about which even the famous "Pesnyary" sang. Visitors can expect more than just a tour. You can also get in touch with folk crafts at weaving master classes.
