Vitebsk celebrating 136th anniversary of M. Chagall's birth

The M. Chagall Art Center presented new exhibits including original prints and more than 60 books from the artist’s personal library, which is located in the French city of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. The gift to the Vitebsk museum was given by the artist's granddaughters, Meret and Bella Meyer. The M. Chagall house museum of hosted a festive theatrical and musical interactive event. Vitebsk residents performed several pieces about the famous artist and their native city. The guests could also take part in a quest concerning the museum’s exposition.
