Traditions of willow weaving restored in Molodechno

Traditions of the ancient folk craft – willow weaving – are restored in the town of Molodechno. The complicated and laborious art unites people of different ages and professions. Willow weaving is a process, which demands physical strength and delicate hand skills at the same time. The properties of the stuff are also important. Belarusian craftspeople most frequently work with willow branches. The production range is vast – interior features, dishes, souvenirs, accessories and gallantry.
