Traditions and avant-garde are represented in the textiles by artist Pavel Bondar. An exposition in the capital's Palace of Art is dedicated to the work of the founder of the school of Belarusian artistic textiles. The teacher and artist-innovator invented his own techniques. The last years of his life he devoted to the students of the Department of Textiles and Costume of the Academy of Arts, where he worked as a teacher. More than 70 works by the maestro are presented in the gallery of the Palace of Art. The exposition additionally features works by his students.
