Today marks 125th anniversary of Kondrat Krapiva's birth

The 125th anniversary of birth of Belarusian literature classic Kondrat Krapiva is celebrated today. Experts are going to voice unknown facts fr om the life of the master of Belarusian fable at the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, wh ere his documents and personal belongings will be presented as well. The poet's granddaughter, art history PhD Elena Atrakhovich will describe how teacher Kondrat Krapiva rose to the rank of an officer during the First World War. The program includes Belarusian folk songs accompanied by accordion and stage performances based on the fables by Krapiva.
