Today is 145th anniversary of artist Vitold Bialynitski-Birulia

Today marks the 145^th birthday of the celebrated master of national landscape. Vitold Bialynitski-Birulia brought international attention to the beauty of the Belarusian nature. The works of the academician, People's Artist of Russia and Belarus, a recognized European-level master are carefully kept at the Tretyakov Gallery and the National Art Museum of Belarus. His artistic principle was to make half-tones stand out instead of colors. Birulia's colors are blurred, his summer and autumn are but shades.

Our country central art museum holds the largest collection of the originals, 460 works in total.
