Today is 100th anniversary of death of outstanding Belarusian poet Maxim Bogdanovich

100 years ago, the Belarusian classic Maxim Bogdanovich died. The poet was only 25 years old. He died in Crimea, where he was treated for tuberculosis. Bogdanovich is buried in one of the ancient cemeteries of Yalta. A monument was installed in his honor. The local museum has an exposition devoted to the poet, which acquaints residents and guests of Crimea with pages of biography and creativity of the great Belarusian. Today, many events dedicated to the classic are held all across Belarus and abroad.
