Theaters from Russia to present their productions at leading venues in Minsk
On September 12, on the stage of the Belarusian Bolshoi Theater the Mari Opera and Ballet Theater named after Sapaev will present the "Russian Hamlet" production choreographed by Eifman to the music of Beethoven and Mahler. And on September 13 it will be Prokofiev's "Cinderella" ballet. The production is 15 years old this season. In the same days Kupalovski theater will be hosting dramatic art from the Republic of Tatarstan. The Kazan Bolshoi Drama Theater named after Kachalov, one of the oldest theaters in Russia, is arriving with a two-week tour. They open the tour with last season's premiere, "The Inspector" comedy based on Gogol’s works. There are a total of 7 productions in the playbill. The Kupalovski theater company will pay a return visit with the legendary production of "Pavlinka".
