The cultural project for the 950th anniversary of Minsk

Minsk is getting ready to celebrate its 950th anniversary this year. Ahead of this event the National Art Museum together with the Ministry of Culture is launching the project called Minsk Through the Eyes of Artists. The project will span the entire year. Minsk residents and visitors will be able to enjoy reproductions of famous paintings devoted to 20th century Minsk buildings, which have not survived. Already this week, 6 paintings by Belarusian artists will go on display in Lenina Street. In total, the capital will be decorated with about 50 architectural images.
