"Symon the Musician" festival and competition brings together over 250 participants

About 270 participants and almost 30 art groups took part in the 27th "Symon the Musician" festival and competition in Stolbtsy. The contestants demonstrated their virtuoso skills in playing the accordion, violin and cymbals. In addition to performing skills, the jury evaluated the originality of artistic interpretation, stage conduct, costumes and the complexity of the repertoire. The Grand Prix was won by young musicians from the Smolevichi Children's Art School. The festival is a region-wide event held every two years.
