12.08.2020
A stylized blacksmith's workshop has opened in the Historical Museum. The exhibition project called "Touch the Past" is a kind of backstage of the reenactment and allows to examine in detail knightly armor and weapons, as well as get acquainted with the process of blacksmithing. Such ammunition is used during the summer military history festivals. A valuable addition includes models and banners, which introduce the history of the development of European military affairs in the period from the XIV to the end of the XVII century. Guests can see the images of the knights of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the soldiers of Anastasia Slutskaya and the winged hussars of Stefan Batory until September 6.
