Slavianski Bazaar Arts Festival kicks off in Vitebsk

An official opening ceremony of the 29th International Arts Festival Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk will take place in the Summer Amphitheater on 16 July. One of the largest open-air festivals in Europe will last for 4 days. The international press centre opens today. In the afternoon, a new star will be lit up in the Laureates' Square near the Summer Amphitheater. The star will bear the name of a winner of the special award of the Belarusian president "Through Art – to Peace and Mutual Understanding". The opening concert at the Summer Amphitheater in the evening will feature popular Belarusian and Russian artists, regular participants of the festival and young performers.
