Today marks 125th birth anniversary of Maxim Bogdanovich

Today marks the 125th birth anniversary of Belarus" national classical poet Maxim Bogdanovich, the main festivities to be held in Minsk. The laying of a capsule with soil brought from Bogdanovich"s grave will take place around noon at Minsk"s All Saints Memorial Temple. The ceremony will be followed by a literary event at the monument to Bogdanovich in Minsk, during which students, teachers and special guests will be reciting the poet"s works. A memorial rally will take place in the evening. The memorial events" participants have been congratulated by the Belarusian President.
