Protection dolls produced in Kletsk district

An ancient tradition of producing protection dolls is preserved in the Kletsk district of Belarus. Head of the coterie for decorative and applied arts at the local culture center of the Kuhchitsy agrotown Tatiana Yesis creates the unique figures. The craftslady has made dozens of individual dolls, each of them being one of a kind. The artist composes a doll gallery which tells about traditional Belarusian crafts, their professions and peculiarities of their everyday life.
