Presentation of National Theater Award finalists begins today in Minsk

Presentation of productions that have made it into the final of the National Theater Award begins today. The best plays of the two Belarusian theater seasons are competing for the fifth time. The day before the Kupala Theater hosted presentation of the jury that will be looking at productions in five categories. A total of 87 applications were submitted, 48 entered the final. Experts will name the best in 21 nominations, some of which are new. For example, for the first time in the history of the project the best experimental performance and the performance of a small drama theater will be chosen.
