National Art Museum of Belarus turns 80

The National Art Museum of Belarus turns 80! President Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the staff on the anniversary. Over the years, the museum’s funds inlude a collection of more than 30 thousand paintings and sculptures. And now the famous building is being reformed into a museum quarter. Work is scheduled to be completed in 2020. Specialists are preparing expositions for the 90th anniversary of the artist Arlen Kashkurevich, as well as an exhibition of paintings by May Danzig and Leonid Dudarenko. The museum collection of Belarusian icons will go to an exhibition in Romania.
