12.06.2020
Zaslavl Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve will soon incorporate the Museum of Belarusian Malyavanka (Belarusian national painted carpets). Almost 300 original malyavankas are still waiting their time to be exhibited. A unique collection of painted carpets that decorated peasant houses in the last century was collected over 30 years ago in different parts of Belarus. The exposition will be complemented by modern artists who made their carpets based on Belarusian folk art.
