Minsk hosts International Christmas Puppet Theater Festival Nyabyosy

The International Christmas Puppet Theater Festival Nyabyosy opens today in Minsk. Puppet theatres from Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Ukraine and Lithuania will gather for the fifth time at the educational center of the Saint Elisabeth Convent. The best of 15 church plays will be chosen by actors, theatrical and art critics. The program of the festival includes master classes on straw weaving and origami, a literary event and various contests.
