Minsk hosts International Christmas Festival «Nyabyosy» (The Heavens)

The International Christmas Festival «Nyabyosy» (The Heavens) opened in Minsk. Batleyka and puppet troupes from Belarus, Russia, Estonia, Ukraine and Lithuania gathered in the educational center of the Holy Elizabeth monastery. The team from Russia brought «The theater in the suitcase» production performed to the tunes of the balalaika, bell and violin. And the guest from Lithuania will introduce the audience to the one-man show. Actors, theater critics and art experts will choose the best of 15 productions. The festival will also feature master classes on straw crafts, literary events, and games.
