25.04.2018
Today the Bolshoi Theatre in Minsk is premiering Puccini’s world-famous La Bohème. It was staged there twice, in 1968 and 2002. Now the opera is directed by the People's Artist of Russia and four-time winner of the Golden Mask theatre prize Alexander Titel. The artistic concept of the new staging lies in early modernism. The events of the opera have been moved to the beginning of the 20th century. Poor talented artists begin their career in Paris. On the Minsk stage, La Bohème is performed in the original Italian language.
