Masterpieces of Vetka school of icon painting presented in Minsk

The masterpieces of the Vetka school of icon painting were presented in Minsk. The exhibition kicked off at the National Art Museum. It highlights the talent of several generations of masters from Polesie. All the items come from the collections of the Vetka Museum of Old Believers and Folk Traditions named after Shklyarov. The exhibition presents icons, books, materials and tools of icon painters. Particular attention is paid to the collection of exemplums. The oldest exhibit is dating back to the 17th century.
