Belarusfilm hosts master classes by invited cinema experts, the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography professors from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Students of arts from Belarusian universities get theoretical and practical advice from the Russian experts. In September, the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography celebrated its 100th anniversary. At a certain point, Belarusian directors Viktor Turov, Margarita Kasymova and Aleksandr Efremov graduated from one of the leading film schools, too. A cooperation agreement is in force between the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography and the Academy of Arts.
