Lubich's painting returns to Belarus
Still-life by the famous artist Iosif Lubich returned to his homeland. Funds of the National Art Museum of Belarus were replenished with the canvas by a native of the Paris school of painting, a Grodno-born artist. The famous decorator of the Berlin Opera Lubich was exhibited in the art galleries of Paris, Brussels and London. The collection of the museum «classic still life with a jug», which is adorned with the initials of the master, was conveyed by the Embassy of Belarus in Switzerland. The picture was purchased at a private auction in Israel. This is not the first return of Lubich's paintings to Belarus. In the collections of the National Art Museum, the picture «Spanish with a Guitar», as well as the sketch "A Small Bouquet of Flowers" are kept.
