Logoisk vytinanka – in icons
10.02.2023
The oldest type of arts and crafts – vytinanka – is being developed in the Logoisk House of Crafts. Here they practice making not only traditional New Year decorations for windows, but also such elegant masterpieces as icons made of thin paper. The image of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker and the Blessed Virgin Mary in the "vytinanka" solution looks very impressive and original. In addition to the ancient craft of making paper ornaments, members of local creative associations develop such Belarusian folk crafts as embroidery, pottery, and straw weaving.
