Libraries Day to be celebrated in Belarus on September 15

On September 15, Belarus will celebrate the Libraries Day. It is the date of the foundation of the country's central book depository, the National Library. Today, there are over 7 thousand libraries in the country, their collections total about 180 million items. Today the libraries are actively migrating into virtual space. In addition, the range of information services and resources that are provided to the Belarusian reader is being extended.
