Last day of online marathon "Reading Classics Together"
23 April is the last day of the two-week online marathon "Reading Classics Together". At 4.00 pm, Minsk time, actors of the Janka Kupala National Theatre will be reading the last chapter of Uladzimir Karatkevich’s novel "Каласы пад сярпом тваiм" ("Ears of corn under your sickle") on the official YouTube channel of the Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature. The final part of the novel will be performed by Olga Nefedova, Ivan Trus and Evgenia Kulbachnaya. In May, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Victory, the State Museum of the History of Belarusian Literature will launch a project dedicated to WWII novelist Vasil Bykov. The working title is "Let’s read, and watch, and think it over". In addition to readings, movies from the Belarusfilm funds will be screened.
