Kopyl preparing to host Day of Belarusian Written Language
Kopyl is preparing to welcome guests and participants of the 28th Day of Belarusian Written Language. The meeting of the organizing committee took place the day before. The program of the celebrations was discussed. In preparation for the event the emphasis is placed on the development of infrastructure and the improvement of the city. Surprises are in store for the participants of the opening and closing ceremonies. In addition to the central one, additional venues have been reserved for concert performances, poetry meetings and recreation across the city. The Alley of Writers will be completed and the monument to Kopyl-born poet Tishka Gartny will be re-installed ahead of the Day. The celebrations will also feature a food festival with focus on the national cuisine.
