Jewelry collection of Historical Museum of Russia arrives in Minsk

A jewelry collection from the funds of the State Historical Museum of Russia was delivered to Belarus by Moscow-Minsk flight. After the procedure of customs clearance accompanied by special protection the art objects will be delivered to the National Historical Museum of Belarus. After unpacking, the silver and gold items decorated with diamonds (cigarette cases, saltcellars, boxes) will form an exhibition called «The Silver Age of the Jewelers of Russia». It will open on September 7. The highlight of the exhibition will be the famous Faberge eggs. In our country such masterpieces of jewelry art are exhibited for the first time.
