History of New-year tree decorations presented at Michael Savitsky gallery
29.12.2020
Traditions of production of the New-year tree toys and the history of their development can be traced at the Michael Savitsky gallery. Decorations of the Soviet times have a special charm – balls, little figures, garlands, spires. Some of the species are rather rare – toys made of cotton-wool and glass, which epitomize fairy-tale characters, people of different professions. New-year issues of popular children's magazines are presented there, too. A photo zone recreating the interior environment of an old-time apartment adds to the New-year atmosphere.
