Grodno hosts exhibition of Belarusian diasporas’ folk costumes

An exhibition of folk costumes of the diasporas living in Belarus was presented in Grodno – the capital of the republican festival of national cultures. More than 30 costumes and hats were collected in the cultural center Festivalny. Fr om traditional Russian and Lithuanian to exotic Mexican and Turkish costumes, the exhibition reflects a peaceful and tolerant Belarus, wh ere people of various nationalities live together. It is planned to expand the exposition and bring together household items of different nationalities.
