15.07.2021
The evolution of the Belarusian glassmaking is presented at the halls of the National Art Museum. The balance between the utilitarian and decorative properties of the fragile material was found by Vladimir Murakhver. The exhibition is timed to coincide with the artist's 90th birthday. The author started to develop his own style in glassmaking immediately after studying in Leningrad. After graduating, he worked as chief artist at the famous plant "Neman" developing a new style of glass. The works of Vladimir Murakhver are kept both in the fund collections of Belarusian museums and in private collections abroad.
