First exhibition of Schraga Zarfin’s works to be held in Belarus
22.11.2019
The first personal exhibition of Schraga Zarfin’s works will be held in Belarus. It will open for the 120th anniversary of the artist, who belongs to the French movement of expressionists. The representative of the Paris School was born in Smilovichi, but for many decades in his homeland nothing was known about him. The author himself always emphasized that he came from Belarus. The name of Zarfin is also known in a fashionable environment. He sketched the fabric patterns of many homes, including Coco Chanel. Collectors hunt for his works; they rarely appear at auctions. Belarusians will be the first to see a collection of his paintings.
