The Orthodox calendar celebrates the Day of Saints Peter and Paul. This holiday has long been revered among the people, it is traditionally accompanied by numerous rituals, which are still carefully preserved in the regions of Belarus. Thus, for the tenth time, the festival of traditional culture "Pyatrovitsa" is being held on "Peter’s Day" in the Lyuban district. The ethnic forum collects and popularizes the Lyuban folklore. Its goal is to preserve and convey to the contemporary people local songs and dances, features of arts and crafts and even regional cuisine.
