Exposition of iconography of Blessed Virgin opened at Belarusian State University

An exposition of iconography opened at the Belarusian State University on the eve of the holiday of Protection of the Blessed Virgin. The museum of folk culture exhibited thirty five icons, which present the Mother of God in various techniques: painted and photo icons, icons in book replicas, tapestries and jewelry patterns. The expo dedicated to the holiday of Protection of the Blessed Virgin is not the first artistic project by the Belarusian State University. The holidays are traditionally marked with thematic events, exhibitions, and meetings with eminent figures of the Belarusian culture.
