16.08.2019
Paintings, which were stored away for many years, amounted to a great success as one of the central exhibitions of August. The National Art Museum will supplement famous masterpieces with watercolor by Fyodor Kiselyov. For 30 years, the Vitebsk-based artist created series of works about the Chernobyl tragedy, architectural monuments and the nature of the Dnieper lands. To recreate the artist’s artistic story, more than three dozen paintings were delivered specially from the collections of the Mogilev and Goretsky museums. Today, Kiselev’s works adorn the public museums in Poland, Germany and France.
