Exhibition of set designer Evgeny Lysik opens at Bolshoi Theater

An exhibition by stage designer Yevgeny Lysik has opened at the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus. The exposition includes original sketches for performances, rare archival photographs, scenes from ballets. The master could have turned 90 this year. He designed many performances on the Minsk stage in tandem with the People's Artist of the USSR Valentin Elizariev. Among the joint works are the ballets "Creation of the World", "Carmen Suite", "Spartacus". During this week, the Bolshoi Theater hosts performances on which Evgeny Lysik worked.
