Exhibition of ancient folios kicks off at National Art Museum

Today the National Art Museum opens an exhibition «From the Book Treasury». In the hall of ancient Belarusian art, alongside sacral objects, nine old printed publications will be presented. All of them were published on the territory of our lands. In total, the collection of the National Museum includes about 200 ancient folios. The earliest is the altar Gosling-colour of the year 1600. It will become the central item of the exhibition. National Art Museum will continue acquainting the viewer with the book collection. Individual specimens after restoration will also appear in the museum exposition.
