Braslav hosted International festival of traditional culture "Braslavskie zarnitsy" ("Braslav heat-lightnings")

Over a thousand guests got together at the International festival of traditional culture "Braslavskie zarnitsy" ("Braslav heat-lightnings"). Singers, musicians and dancers came to the lake district to show their art. The program includes concerts in agrotowns, a festival of medieval culture, open-air family celebrations. The central event was the guests procession through the Braslav town streets and a choir competition. The international festival was launched in the Soviet times. This year, the "heat-lightnings" celebrated the 52-nd anniversary.
