Bolshoi Theater to present new staging of “The Nutcracker”

Not just improved, but literally restored. The new staging of “The Nutcracker” by Valentin Elizariev will return to the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus this evening. For the premiere, the workshops restored the stage set from the 1982 premiere show. This ballet was called one of the most popular performances of the Bolshoi, it features 5 soloists. But for those who cannot watch the Christmas story live, Belteleradiocompany will produce a TV version of the premiere.
