Biopic about Muliavin to be produced in Belarus

A biopic about Vladimir Muliavin, the frontman of the legendary Soviet Belarusian folk rock band Pesniary, will be produced in Belarus. A private motion-picture company has won the tender of the Ministry of Culture for the production of the feature film. As soon as the contract is signed, the company will be given 15 months for the development and filming. The working title of the 8-episode drama is "Half an hour before the spring". Mulyavin’s music will be arranged in a new way and performed by the Belarusian Pesniary band. 80 percent of filming will take place in Belarus.
