Belarusian State Philharmonic Society opens new symphonic season

The Belarusian State Philharmonic Society opens a new symphonic season. It will start with modern classics – the Poet oratorio by composer Dmitry Smolsky to the lyrics by Yanka Kupala will be performed by the National Academic Tsitovich folk choir. For the first time in several decades, the Mahler's Fifth symphony will sound in the Big hall. The program of the season opening was deliberated for several months. All of the symphonic orchestra staff will be present on stage. The string section will be reinforced by the students of the Belarusian state academy of music.
