Belarusian project receives high praise at art exhibition in Venice

The art project Stol (The Table) by artist Roman Zaslonov that was put on display in May at Belarus’ national pavilion at the 57th edition of La Biennale di Venezia, an international art exhibition in Venice, attracted the attention of art enthusiasts from different countries and received high praise from the professional judges. The art project Stol is a 32-minute video featuring more than 20 short scenes. The co-authors are a producer Viktor Lobkovich and movie director Sergei Talybov. Belarus’ national pavilion opened on 11 May. Over the first week of the exhibition, the Belarusian project caught the attention of over 1,000 contemporary art fans and experts.
