Belarusian cinema turns 96 today! The first national production was "A Forest Story", an adaptation from a piece by Mikhas Charot. In recent years, “Belarusfilm” has been actively modernizing its facilities and equipment. New pavilions, modern machinery and a wide range of filming equipment allows carrying out projects that meet the highest requirements of today. 6 feature films, 15 documentaries and 5 animated films are produced here annually. More than 140 projects were produced jointly with other countries.
